This allows us to provide you with a comprehensive Site analysis – solar access, aspect, views, neighbouring properties, prevailing winds, and bushfire considerations & zoning controls. You will be informed of any potential permit requirements at this stage.
This stage will most likely require a site visit.
Depending on the amount of information required by the client at this stage, a consultation service fee may apply.
With this information we can put together a fee quote.
STEP 2
STEP 3
The next stage is construction drawings and drafting required for a building permit application. This involves fully documented drafting plans – construction plans that are compliant with all legislation and planning. We generally offer to organise all independent consultants and their documentation input. (You may wish to organise some consultants yourself) Such consultants may include soil reports, engineers computations, energy ratings, bushfire, landscaping & environmental consultants.
STEP 4
Once the construction drawings are finalised, we can submit all the required documentation to the building surveyor (RBS) for assessment and a building permit application, you also have the option of submitting the building permit yourself. We will continue working with the building surveyor until the building permit is approved.
STEP 5
We also offer further advice during the construction stage for yourself or the builder. In any case we do like to follow through the building progress on our projects.
